There are valueless for most full broken (cracked) phone screens on the market. It’s critical for buyers/sellers to pick out the full broken screens in an easy way, but how?
Normally, when we test a screen, we will use a test machine or test board, it will take 30-60 seconds to judge if the screen is broken or not. (It depends on testers’ skill level), for me it will take 35 seconds around (including flex cable connection and machine power on). But when you find an easy way, it will take only 2 or 3 seconds, that means 10 times efficiency.
First, for flat screens, when you put the screen under the light, keep the screen and your eyes on the same horizon, you can easily see the liquid leakage area, check the photo below.
For soft screens, you can use a UV light, let the cracked spot exposed under the UV light, then you will see clearly the leakage area, see pictures below
